Welcome to TCG Science. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and subscription platform (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are personal. Sharing or reselling access is strictly prohibited.

2. Subscriptions, Payments & Cancellations

• Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. VAT will be added based on your location in accordance with EU law.
• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store credit card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard. Your access will remain active until the end of the billing cycle.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

3. Use of the Service

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. Commercial use (e.g., reselling our insights or automated scraping) is not permitted without written permission.

You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell our data or content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or otherwise misuse the Service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract or exploit data.

4. Intellectual Property

• All content on the Service (including code, design, text, analytics, and branding) is the property of TCG Science and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
• You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
• Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to you.

5. Data & Privacy

• We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• By using the Service, you consent to our use of your data as described in that policy.
• Payment details are handled exclusively by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

6. Insights & Financial Disclaimer

• The Service provides data analytics and insights only. We do not provide financial, investment, or trading advice.
• You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the information provided.
• TCG Science disclaims all liability for financial losses, missed opportunities, or damages arising from the use of insights available through the Service.

7. Third-Party Rights & Content

• Pokémon, Pokémon character names, images, logos, and trademarks are the property of The Pokémon Company International, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Game Freak Inc.
• TCG Science is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company International, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., or Game Freak Inc.
• All product data, images, and related content used on the Service remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. We make no claim of ownership.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any data or insights provided. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TCG Science shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of the Service. In any case, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in fraudulent activity.
• You may terminate your account at any time via the account dashboard.

11. Changes to the Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last modified” date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
